We would like to recognize and celebrate our April and May students of the month.
April:
Kennedy Shoop (2nd):
Kennedy takes pride in her work, and always puts forth her best effort! She is also a great friend to those in her class, and she follows school rules. She’s quick to help a friend, and to cheer her classmates on!
Emalina Oliferchuk (6th):
Emalina always tries to do her best. She works hard, and is very willing to help in ANY way that she can. She participates in discussions and is respectful to her classmates. She is creative and willing to be a leader and example for her classmates.
Esther Pakhnyuk (8th)
Esther is a hardworking, dependable, and respectful student who consistently demonstrates these qualities in and out of class. She completes assignments on time, participates in discussions, and shows an incredible work ethic. Esther's willingness to help others and stay focused makes her an excellent nominee for the award. She always tries her best and has a positive attitude!
Kayden Box (12th)
Kayden is always upbeat, willing to help others, and takes the time to talk to other students that aren't in her immediate circle of friends. She has done a very good job leading Student Council events and has a positive attitude. Kayden hardly ever misses school and is always polite to staff and students. She goes out of her way to help with all organizations with a smile on her face. She is always smiling, and talks to all kinds of students. She has a great personality and she will be missed around the halls of GRHS

Jamie Reynolds (3rd):
We are so proud to recognize this sweet, quiet, and hardworking student as our Student of the Month. Jamie may not always be the loudest voice in the room, but her actions speak volumes. Every single day, she shows up with a kind heart, a strong work ethic, and a calm, respectful presence that makes our classroom better. She consistently gives her best effort, takes pride in her work, and never gives up—even when something is challenging. She is always doing the right thing and encouraging others just by being herself.
Dominic Andrews (6th):
Moving to a new school can be extremely difficult for most students. Dominc has done an incredible job at adapting to all of the changes that come with a new school. He shows his tiger stripes every day. He is polite, he is kind and courteous, and he is willing to learn.
Sophia Verbovshchuk (8th)
Sophia is an excellent student. She always gets her work done, on time, and to a high level of accuracy. When she doesn't understand, she doesn't hesitate to ask for help. Sophia is kind, forgiving, and a friend to many. She always illustrates the qualities of an ideal student! She truly shows the love of Christ in all that she does.
Aliya Edington (11th)
Aliya is a student whose quiet dedication and determination often goes unnoticed, yet she consistently demonstrates these qualities. This makes her truly deserving of Student of the Month recognition. She does not seek attention or the spotlight, but instead leads through her actions, kindness, and work ethic every single day. She is caring, respectful, and always willing to help others without hesitation. She supports her classmates, participates in school activities, or offers encouragement to those around her, she consistently shows compassion and maturity beyond her years.
Academically, she works hard and maintains strong grades through perseverance and commitment. She gives her best effort in the classroom and out, through the many activities she's involved in. She balances her responsibilities with grace and determination. Aliya exemplifies what it means to student of the month. She is a well-rounded student and positive role model. She is reliable and genuine in all her actions. She is highly deserving of this recognition.
