Our Running Tigers endured a very wet and muddy race Saturday at the Smith-Cotton XC Invitational. Despite the more challenging course both Lily Viebrock and Evee Porter ran faster than the week prior. Callie Knoerschild finished strong in her debut race of the season. On the Jr. High side both Mya Edington and Angelica Georgiyev were impressive in their first ever cross country race. Angelica finished in the top half of the pack and Mya medaled, finishing 9th out of 44 runners! 👏
Great job Tigers!!

Varsity soccer suffered a loss 1-5 to visiting Crocker on Friday evening.
After allowing 2 quick goals, the Tigers managed to put one in when Wyatt Crawford finished off a direct kick from Max Tylar. Crocker countered with 3 more goals before half.
The second half was a bit more balanced with both teams holding off attempts from their opponent.
The Tigers are back in action at home Tuesday vs Stover to open conference play.

Ronnie built a new spotlight for the flag at the soccer field. He and Bobby mounted the spotlight and flag for the new soccer season that is underway. Bobby captured this great photo after they completed the job! Thanks fellas for all you do! It looks amazing!

From Miss Hilt:
"In Anatomy, students worked in groups to construct a 3-D model of an organ of their choice. They then had to present their model to the class and explain the parts of the organ and the functions it has in the body. One group constructed a stomach model and one group constructed a brain! They turned out great!"

From Miss Hilt:
"To prepare for the hot air balloon, physical science learned about how hot air balloons float and why hot air rises. After learning about the processes, we made our own small-scale hot air balloon!"
