GR8 HS band members have been coming in during beginning band to teach the beginning 5th grade band the first steps for instrument care. From Mrs. Bates: "Since I have been here, implementing the HS band students with my beginners has been a goal of mine. Both parties are greatly impacted and the program as a whole has shown more success and retention by including everyone in this process."

Lady Tiger Volleyball – Kaysinger Catch-up!   How about them Tiger Volleyball Girls!  The Varsity Volleyball team has been busy since our last update and last night they stormed the Sacred Heart gym with a 4-set win:  25-21, 18-25, 25-22, 25-16.  Senior Nevaeh Washington led the team both defensively and offensively covering the baseline on defense and running down 22 digs.  She also made her presence known at the net with 13 kills.   Emery Cannon added 8 kills and 13 digs of her own.   Zakiyah Morse and Abby Warner each finished with 13 digs and 12 digs as well.  It was a great defensive night for the Lady Tigers.  Junior setter Sydney Gordon set up the offense with 17 assists and Mallory Reed distributed the ball for 6 assists of her own.  A great WIN! Lady Tigers are now 9-7-1 overall and 2-1 in the Kaysinger conference.  They will be enjoying the UCM Jennies match tonight and then return to the court Monday 9/25 taking on the Lincoln Cardinals at home.

So many foundational skills are learned in kindergarten! Cutting, glueing, coloring, making patterns, writing, recognizing letters, and following directions were just a few of the skills Mrs. Piscopo's Kinders were polishing while working on their American flag projects!

This was amazing! Kindergarten students were quietly working independently while they took turns visiting Mrs. Lamar's table for 1:1 testing. Our little tiger cubs are already learning successful routines and procedures! It's impressive!
