Tiger Nation and our Green Ridge Community, We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support of our school district. Your dedication to our students, staff and educational programs strengthens our community every day, and we are truly thankful for you. As we move forward together, it's important to recognize that the school and community are deeply connected. Our shared commitment to one another ensures we continue to grow, thrive and make a positive impact in the lives our children and future Tigers! This year, we have accomplished something truly special. With your overwhelming support, the levy has passed- something that has been 28 years in the making. This victory belongs to ALL of us, and we are beyond grateful for your trust and belief in the future of our students and staff. This achievement will provide vital resources to sustain, to recruit and retain and improve our programs for years to come. At Green Ridge R V-III we are in charge of our future. While there may be influences from state and federal levels, it is our collective effort and partnership that will shape the direction of our district. Together, we can make a difference that no external force can match! Thank you for being an essential part of Tiger Nation. GR Elementary teachers finished up their last in-person training for LETRS ( Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) last week. This 2 year course of study gives teachers the skills needed to help support and teach language and literacy to every student by providing in-depth training in the Science of Reading. This group has worked hard and deserve to be celebrated!

Good Morning Tiger Nation! It definitely is Spring- what a morning! I wanted to give a quick update to our parents, guardians and community about protocols this morning. Your children are WHY we are here! Their safety and the safety of our staff is the most important thing. ALL students and staff reported to the big gym this morning upon arrival as a precautionary measure incase GR was put under a warning. At approximately 8:05 am ALL students and staff were released to classrooms to begin a regular day. At no time did our sirens go off or alerts on our phones - in an effort to be proactive these measure were taken for everyone's safety. Thank you for your continued support of GR R-VIII and our TIGER NATION!

Mrs. Donaldson's 7th grade science class spent today making a synthetic material (bouncy ball) from natural materials while 8th grade debunked the misconception that more massive objects free-fall faster than less massive objects.

Our character word for March wasTrustworthiness. Trustworthiness is the quality of being reliable, honest, and dependable. A trustworthy person can be counted on to do what they say, they will act with integrity, and tell the truth. It involves consistency in actions, keeping promises, and demonstrating ethical behavior. These GR8 students are recognized for this outstanding quality. What a GR8 way to represent Tigernation!
