HS Boys Basketball Round up for this week. The Tigers beat Ballard on Monday night, being up as much as 40 at one point in the 3rd quarter. The Tigers were led in scoring by Weston Crawford (20) and Mark Pavlioglo (16). The Tigers ended up winning 63-41. The Rivas Twins have shown much improvement over the year, and have done a nice job stepping into varsity games. HS Basketball early week update. The Tigers pulled out a nice win Monday night against Warsaw 47-41. It was a tightly contested game with the lead changing hands several times in the second half. The Tigers found themselves down 5 with a little more than 4 minutes left to go in the game, but came back with a three from Weston Crawford and another from Abrahm Rivas to take the lead. The Tigers were led in scoring by Weston with 24 and Kamryn Hoos with 9. Last night the Tigers met a talented Sacred Heart team in Sedalia. The Tigers played well for the first three quarters and then ran out of gas. Kamryn led our scoring with 13 followed by Weston with 10. Jacob Tylar pitched in 6 as well. The Tigers are back in action on Friday with a varsity only night with girls against Stover in Green Ridge.

The Green Ridge students of the month for December are Alexas Stevens and Kaylee Burkhart! Alexas consistently maintains As and Bs while going to CTC and working at Dairy Queen all weekend. When she is in the classroom she helps others that need assistance. Alexas uses her strategies for success to overcome all obstacles, and always puts forth her best effort. Kaylee Burkhart displays characteristics of a kind, respectful, and safe student. She uses kind words to everyone, and is always willing to lend a helping hand. She follows all the rules, and often exceeds our expectations no matter what is asked of her. Congratulations ladies! You represent Green Ridge well!
